The Colorado Springs/Pikes Peak Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society welcomes you to our website and we invite you learn more about our organization. Our Chapter joins a brotherhood of nearly 28,000 men in the United States and Canada who share a love for the lock and ring of a barbershop chord.
We sing old songs, new songs, love songs, slow songs, up beat songs, country western, show songs, humorous songs all in 4-part barbershop harmony. The major shows in the spring and at Christmas include 35 man chorus and/or several chapter quartets. We also perform at local gathering throughout the year. Singing barbershop is a hobby and we are all about having fun at the same time
Our Society motto is "Keep the Whole World Singing,"

Christmas Show 2012. If you missed the Christmas show you missed one of the best Christmas productions in the
Colorado Springs area. The auditorium was full and we received a standing ovation for each performance. Here are
some of the comments from our audience:
" I really enjoyed the show very much! This was by far the Chorus' best production and performance
that I've seen over these past years. I especially liked the challenging, more complex multi-voice piece
they added to this year's repertoire. And the "12 Days of Christmas" was so much fun!! I don't know
how long this group of guys have been singing together, but they certainly are getting better & better!
Thanks for a wonderful evening."
A long time patron
"What a wonderful performance. This show represents what good music is all about. The chorus definitely
set a high standard for the season. It's what the Christmas spirit is all about."
A patron from out of state
"Your performance was at a quality level above other championship choruses I have heard."
A barbershop music judge
Valentines day 2013 saw the chorus send out several quartets to present a singing valentines to our customer. This
included four men dressed in tuxes who sang 2 love songs, presented a long stem rose and a valentine document. As in
the past, it was a great hit especially when 2 of the valentines were from soldiers on duty in Afghanistan. (see picture
below)
Some of comments we received were:
"Yes! She was completely taken by surprise and she loved it! A coworker of hers took a video as well so I got to see it
which was superb!"
A customer from out of state
"I started to cry when I realized who is was from "
A customer whose husband is in the Army

Daytime Singers
The Daytime Singers are a mini chorus made up of members who perform for smaller outings. They often fill
requests to sing for weddings, reunions, social clubs, senior homes, etc. where the main course can not make the
time frame based on other commitments. This group is also available at a reduced fee or
for charity functions.
Four guys got together one night to sing several years ago
and had so much fun dong it, they decided to "stick
together". Thus, "Velcro" was formed. Singing
