ATB Chorus VLQ performed on FOX21 Loving Living Local with Krista & Nova.
The Chorus performs for residents at Liberty Heights Senior Retirement Center in April 2019.
A dozen members of the chorus along with Director, Jim Clark, cast long, early morning shadows right after singing the Star Spangled Banner for the Police Protective Association’s annual golf tournament at the Club at Flying Horse in September 2019.
Special guests, Newfangled Four, ham it up during the spring show A Good Day.
The chorus notes that it is “a good day for fishin’” during the spring show opener in June 2019.
Director Jim Clark leads both the chorus and the audience in a rousing rendition of God Bless America at the naturalization ceremony in July at Library 21C where immigrants from more than 40 countries were sworn in as new citizens.
Velcro captured the 2019 Rocky Mountain District Seniors Championship!! Left to right: Tim Simmons, baritone; Gary Hickenlooper, bass; Lee Jolly, lead; and Mark Hoffman, tenor. Congratulations!!
Before the year was complete, the America the Beautiful Chorus traveled to the Colorado Springs airport to greet arriving travelers and bid an adieu to those departing our fair city.
During the spring show, A Good Day, emeritus chorus member, Pete Tyree, wearing his gold medal from the 1954 International Championship with The Orphans, stands and belts out his service song (Army Air Corps) during the chorus’ medley of service anthems.
The chorus is having a good time presenting, “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”
