The America the Beautiful Chorus made its debut at the Flying W Ranch on Wednesday, June 15th. In recognition of the Ranch’s 70th anniversary, the chorus was asked to perform its signature song, America the Beautiful. The chorus followed that by a tribute to Colorado’s ever-present blue skies with its rendition of the Irving Berlin classic, Blue Skies!
The Flying W Ranch is one of the iconic tourist attractions in Colorado Springs and is known for its enthusiastic audiences. That was certainly the case, as the chorus was loudly applauded by those present…particularly a large group of young tourists from Wisconsin!

As guest of the Ranch, the chorus enjoyed dinner and the performance by the Flying W Wranglers. This was a particularly nice evening for many chorus members and their guests following the recent postponement of the spring show on June 11th. Efforts are underway to reschedule that event.
